Disk Search for Files
You can let the program automatically search your disk drive for files and folders or customize the disk search with Custom Scan command. You can specify file name and path using wild card characters, file date, attributes, file size and various pre-defined search criterias.

List of extensions (file types)
With count and size of each extension (file type), this report makes it easy to identify file types which are consuming more hard disk space. See visual tour for more details.
List of file attributes
This report allows you to see if there are any hidden, system or readonly files consuming hard disk space. See visual tour for more details.
List of file sizes
You can use this report to find and see files smallest in size and biggest in size. For example, you can see a report for files having file size between 1 MB to 10 MB. This report is useful to find the biggest space hogging files. See visual tour for more details.
List of File dates
This can be useful when you wish to see disk space usage using different time periods. For example, you can see how many files have been created today, yesterday, in current month or last month and so on. See visual tour for more details.
List of File Time
This is a time specific report for a particular day or period. You can use this report to see files created today between 2 pm to 3 pm, files modified today between 12 pm to 2 pm etc. See visual tour for more details.
List of file ownerships

Special Analysis
Use this report to view list of zero size files, oldest files, biggest files, temporary files, junk files, audio / video files, images and picture files, compressed files, internet temporary files and files without extension. See visual tour for more details.

File Viewer

DiskAnalyzer Pro has a built-in File Viewer which you can use to view file details for each type of disk space report. For example, you can double-click any of the entry in File Extensions List to view files list for that particular file extension.

The File Viewer shows file details similar to Windows Explorer such as File Name with Full Path, File size, Used and Wasted space, File type, File Attributes, DOS name and Last accessed date.

The File Viewer has a Filter window which helps you to filter the files list with different criterias. For example, if you have too many files for a particular file extension then you can filter the list to view only top 10, 20 or N files. Similarly you can use file name, path, file date, attributes and file size to filter the files list further. See visual tour for more details.

Export disk reports to files You can easily export all the available disk space utilization reports from DiskAnalyzer Pro to external file formats such as HTML, CSV, XML and ASCII text. The exported files can be kept as a disk space usage history or it can be used to compare it later on with newer disk space utilization reports.
